The Title is DUCKWEED

Tokyo Ghoul has always been a sensation in the anime world. This story was created by the talented mangaka, Ishida Sui. The story has definitely become one of the biggest manga series, and its influence is such that even now, fans get excited for any work by Ishida Sui.

Ishida Sui has worked on some one-shots here and there, and fans are most definitely aware of Choujin X. Now, they can look forward to more of his work.Tokyo Ghoul creator Ishida Suiwill be working on a two-part manga, which will be titled DUCKWEED. By two-part manga, this probably means it will be released as a two-chapter story. This story, known as DUCKWEED, is set to release in Ultra Jump Issue 5/2025. This issue of Ultra Jump is set for release on July 11, 2025, which is about a month from now.

What Will DUCKWEED Be About?

A Story For The Jack Jeanne Series

Many fans of Tokyo Ghoulmight be wondering what exactly this story from Ishida Sui is going to be about, as the title doesn’t give away much. To be clear, the contents of the story itself have not been revealed yet, however, one thing fans know is that this story, DUCKWEED, will be a part of the Jack Jeanne Series.

For fans who don’t know, Jack Jeanne is a Japanese game of the visual novel type, which includes things such as a dating sim. This game is available on a few platforms to check out, such as the Nintendo Switch.

As previously stated, the DUCKWEED chapters will drop in Ultra Jump issue 5/2025. However, this doesn’t tell non-Japanese fans of Tokyo Ghoul where to read it. For now, there isn’t exactly a confirmed place to check the series out. However, it’s not impossible that the chapters will be available on Manga Plus. Fans will have to wait and see.
