Jenna Ortega Gushes About Working With Lady Gaga on Wednesday Season 2
To promote her upcoming movie,Death of a Unicorn, Ortega recently discussed her work withIndieWire. During the conversation,Ortega talked about her experience working with Lady Gaga on the set ofWednesdaySeason 2. Ortega said that Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was “the best” and “one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever worked with.”
“It’s the best. She’s the best, definitely one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever worked with. It was just a really, really special environment to be there with her and Tim [Burton], two people that I respect and have been inspired by so much.”
However, it wasn’t just Lady Gaga’s talent that brought such joy to Ortega’s time onWednesday’s set; it was also the singer’s wholesome personality, which seemed to come as a surprise to Ortega. “Then just finding out that she’s such a sweetheart and really kind and reserved, it’s very strange,” she said. “I love that you never know what to expect from her, but you can always expect kindness and generosity.”
Ortega’s time inWednesdayseason one sawher become headline news due to her now famous dance scenewhere she danced to Lady Gaga’s 2011 hit,Bloody Mary. For those wondering if Ortega and Lady Gaga discussed her legendary moves while working together, apparently, it wasn’t brought up at all. “No, actually, we didn’t. I don’t think we did. We should have. Actually, I can’t remember. Maybe I just saw an interview clip of her talking about it, because I feel like I’m fabricating this story in my head, but I think honestly on that day, we all were just so lucky that she came to do the show that we kept it as normal as we could.” said Ortega.
As for now,Wednesdayseason two has yet to get a release date, with only a 2025 window, but hopefully, there will be some more surprises and maybe even another cast member before then.
