If you speak to the Palico at theSupport Deskof any base camp, you’ll see the option to ‘View/Complete Limited Bounties.’ By clicking this, you can see a list of the quests you can complete and turn in for rewards likeArmor Spheres, Relic Tickets,Oricalcite, and more. You can also see the expiration date for said quests on the right side of the screen.
Sometimes, you might end up seeing a bounty that requires you to complete ‘Research Help: Monsters’ bounties. These are actually just the list of quests that appear in the bounty list – if you look closely at the top of the bounty list, you can even see the text: Research Help: Monsters.' Indeed, these are not different types of optional quests. It’s a little confusing how Capcom decided to word it, but yes, that’s all there is to it.
