Having the ability to not only block, but Parry red attacks as Yasuke is a game-changer for combat. This makes the Protector’s Armor the best early-game armor for Yasuke. There is really no need to find another Legendary Chest Armor piece until much later in the game.
you may find the Protector’s Armor atNijo PalaceinKyoto,Yamashiro. This is a typical ‘Castle’ POI, which requires you to defeat all Samurai Daisho to unlock the Legendary Chest.
Best Early Game Helmet for Yasuke – Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Protector’s Helmet:
The Protector’s Helmet is another piece of Legendary Armor that not only works well in the early-game sections, but also unlocks a Legendary Engraving that will be useful throughout all ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows.This is because Parries are a huge part of Yasuke’s combat style, and this helmet’s engraving turns them into yet another way to cause damage.
You can find the Protector’s Helmet in Hanazano Castle, in theGenbu Highlandsprovince ofYamashiro. There are only twoSamurai Daishoat this location, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to take them out and collect theLegendary Chest.
Samurai Daimyo Helmet of Legend:
As you make it a bit further into the game, you’ll likely find yourself facing much tougher enemies. TheSamurai Daimyo Helmet of Legendprovides an incredible boon that will help Yasuke stay in the fight. If you apply the Legendary Engraving from the Protector’s Helmet to this helmet, you’ll find a piece of armor that will last you the rest of the game.
Samurai Standis a skill that greatly increases Yasuke’s damage output for a brief time. If you’ve already got the skill unlocked and upgraded, the upgrades will be applied to the item skill.
you may find this helmet at Nagasuno Falls inMount Kasagataprovince, Harima. It is in a Legendary Chest that is just north of the POI marker, above the rocks that line the path near the Torii gate.
Best Early Game Amulets for Yasuke – Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Kitsune’s Trickery:
Legendary Amulets are a bit harder to come by in the early-game section ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows.You’ll have to put in a bit of work to collect them, but the significant increase in stats is worth the effort. Kitsune’s Trickery is a good example, as it requires you to nearly complete “The Twisted Tree,” which is a lengthy early game side quest.
Given that Samurai is one of the skill categories you’ll most likely heavily invest in first, the ability to add max health with every point spent is extremely useful. This is especially helpful on higher difficulties.

TheHeadhunterLegendary Amulet is perfect for those Yasuke players who prefer to use only aLong Katana. You cannot have any secondary weapon equipped to gain the benefits, but if you don’t mind using the menu to equip and un-equip a ranged weapon when it’s needed, you’ll find that your sword can handle anything thrown at it.
you may find theHeadhunterat theBlackstone Cascadesin easternMount Kasagata,Harima. This is the same location where you’ll find The Laughing Man target from “The Kabukimono.” To reach the Legendary Chest that contains Headhunter, you’ll have to squeeze through a crack behind the waterfall at Blackstone Cascades. The chest is in the back of a large cave system beneath the hill.
