Researching endemic life is part of a hunter’s responsibility, and inMonster Hunter Wilds, players who are tired of fighting can go and relax by taking a quick fishing trip across the game’s many regions. It’s not as exciting as fighting a wild animal the size of a school bus, but it’s there for anyone who wants a change of pace.
Apart from being generally more relaxing, players who want to getall achievements inMH Wildswill need to know where to get certain types of fish. If you’re hunting achievements, or if you just want to scratch all the game’s side quests and tasks off your to-do list, here’s where you can find every form of aquatic life in the game.
All Fish Locations in Monster Hunter Wilds
Basically,if a body of water has fish swimming in it, it’s safe to say that you can cast a line there and wait for something to bite. You can also use your Capture Net to catch anything in the water, but this method does have limitations. If you want to catch all the fish in the game, you’ll need to use an actual fishing rod.
If a fish’s location is unspecified, it means they can be caught in any fishing spot in that area.
Windward Plains - Area 13 and 14
Iceshard Cliffs - Icy Shore (Area 1)
Ruins of Wyveria - Hidden Cave (Area 13)
Note: Gravid Bowfins are rare, but they can be caught anywhere. UseEmerald Jitterbait.
