As players continue to hunt through the monster roster ofMonster Hunter Wilds, they may discover that the materials they need to craft new gear will have to come from those who have already met their end. Bone-like materials can be required for certain pieces of equipment, and they do not drop from monsters themselves, with some of them being harder to find than others.
The open-world maps will have natural items scattered throughout their massive natural environments. One of these items will come in the form of bones, of which several different types can be dropped at random chance. Where to Find Quality Bones in Monster Hunter Wilds
Quality Bonesare an item that can be found in these small skeletons calledBone Pilesthat are scattered throughout the various maps inMonster Hunter Wildsonce players reachhigh rank: HR 8 and higher.
Similarly to mining formaterials through Mining Outcrops, Bone Piles can be interacted with up to three times to obtain three items from a random loot pool.
A way to further increase your odds of getting a Quality Bone is by wearing any armor with theGeologist skill. That can then give players the chance to obtain extra materials, further increasing their chances of getting a Quality Bone out of a Bone Pile.
While some materials areonly obtained in certain locations, Quality Bones can be found inall high-rank locations. They are typically found surrounding certain zones along the edges of the map. They can sometimes form paths that make it easy to search through multiple piles quickly, with some even being near base and pop-up camps.
