World of Warcraftjust shared a first look at Patch 11.1.5, which will feature the new Nightfall scenario, the Dastardly Duos event, and the return of Horrific Visions. Though Patch 11.1 only just dropped,World of Warcraftis already gearing up for the next content update ofThe War Within.

On February 25,World of Warcraftreleased Patch 11.1, Undermine(d). The first major content update ofThe War Withinbrings fans to the subterranean Goblin metropolis of Undermine, where they contend with the clashing schemes of Jastor Gallywix and Xal’atath.The War WithinSeason 2, as well as the last part of the Patch 11.1 story, was released a week later on March 4.

World of Warcraft The War Within

Less than a day after that,World of Warcrafthaspulled back the curtainon the next content update for the expansion.Patch 11.1.5 is the first of twoWorld of Warcraftupdates to take place between 11.1and 11.2. The headlining feature of this patch is Nightfall, an activity in which players team up with Flame’s Radiance, a new faction featuring a 10-tier Renown track. Fans will face down Nerubian Sureki loyalists in the aftermath of Queen Ansurek’s downfall via a new public scenario, as well as in skirmishes across Hallowfall and Azj-Kahet, to earn armor sets, weapons, a tabard that changes appearance with Renown rank, an alternative color for the Delver’s Dirigible, and even global buffs while in the two zones.

Later in the patch,World of Warcraftwill begin a new six-week event called Dastardly Duos. Players will find Vinnie Sweets in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dornogal, wherein they can queue up to fight animatronic versions of10 iconicWorld of Warcraftbosses. Completing challenges within the Dastardly Dome will allow fans to earn achievements and unlock cosmetics, toys, and even dungeon gear.

Were that not exciting enough,World of Warcraftis bringing back the Horrific Visions fromBattle for Azerothwith some new additions. Players will enter corrupted versions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar to complete objectives and challenges either alone or in groups, fielding a Construct of Soridormi to fill in any combat role in an undersized party. Fans can also earn mounts, toys, transmogs, weapon enchantments, and Hero gear by completing challenges through the activity, and can buy previous rewards with Displaced Corrupted Mementos.

There will be more content coming in Patch 11.1.5, such as a UI update that introduces a native Cooldown Manager, allowing players to better track when abilities can be used. Fans can expect to learn more about the update over the next several weeks as Patch 11.1.5 makes its way to the Public Test Realm.
