The firstWWE 2K25DLC packwill be released in May 2025. Dubbed the New Wave Pack, it will see Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and an unannounced celebrity guest added to the roster. The secondWWE 2K25DLC pack, Dunk & Destruction, will be released at some point in June 2025. This DLC features three NBA stars that have yet to be revealed, former World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali, and TNA legend Abyss.
Abyss being featured inWWE 2K25DLC comes as quite a shock, as the character has never appeared on WWE television. The man behind the mask, Christopher Joseph Park, currently works for WWE in a backstage capacity, and that combined with the company’scurrent working relationship with TNAlikely opened the door to the possibility. For the uninitiated, Abyss, a masked wrestler known for his hardcore-style matches, takes clear inspiration from wrestlers like Kane and Mick Foley. Abyss had matches with Foley in TNA, but he never squared off against Kane during his career.

Kane is currently the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, and Abyss has retired from in-ring action. Considering this, it’s highly unlikely that the Abyss vs. Kane dream match will ever happen in real life. While this is disappointing, at leastWWE fanscan simulate what it would have been like when theWWE 2K25Dunk & Destruction DLC pack launches in June.
Three more DLC packs are planned forWWE 2K25after the release of Dunk & Destruction. The Fearless Pack will come in July 2025 and include ECW legend New Jack, newcomer Jordynne Grace,rising star Penta, the legendary Bull Nakano, and yet another special celebrity guest. The Attitude Era pack coming in September 2025 features D’Lo Brown, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Victoria, and Mark Henry, while November 2025’s Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack is comprised of Jesse Ventura, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, The Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice.
