Assassin’s Creed Shadowsfeatures a lot of castles that are present in all the provinces where players can loot to farm XP and get high-quality loot. In addition to the loot in the open, players can also find a key inside all of them that opens outdoor sheds containing valuable materials for the Hideout and character upgrades. However, the Yamazaki Castle Kura Key is especially hard to find, as it’s not on guard but rather hidden away in a secret area. Here’s how to find it.
Yamazaki Castle Location
Players can find the Yamazaki Castle in theYamazaki area of the Yamashiro provinceinAssassin’s Creed Shadows. The castle is high up the hill, so players will need to head north of the town of Takatsuki and follow the road up to the castle’s entrance.
After reaching the castle, players will discover that they need tofind and eliminate five Samurai Daishoto open the legendary chest. Due to the sheer scale of the castle, these many samurai are expected. However, we’re not after them yet, so let’s try tofind the Yamazaki Castle Kura key first.
Where to Find Yamazaki Castle Kura Key in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
You’ll need to reach the southernmost part of the castle (refer to the image above) to find the Yamazaki Castle Kura Key inAC Shadows. Roam the area until you spot a red bridge that’s being guarded by a Samurai Daisho. Here, you can either engage the samurai in combat and defeat them or simply walk past him stealthily.
There’s a smallcrawlspace to the right of the bridgethat players can enter through. Look towards the right, and you’ll spot the body of a peasant with the loot marker on it. Loot the body to get the Yamazaki Castle Kura Key.
Now, players can open up locked sheds located in the castle’s boundary tosmuggle material crates inside (using scouts)back to their hideout. There are two sheds that players can find in Yamazaki Castle, so make sure you loot them before proceeding ahead. Now, players can either exit the castle, or defeat the rest of Samurai Daisho to open the legendary chest atop Yamazaki Castle toget the Yurei-Walker Hood headgear.
