Though there are different ways to take outopen-world bosses inTears of the Kingdom, one player chose a grounded approach with their latest build. On the r/HyruleEngineering subreddit, a Reddit user named Kmarkow shared their latest tank build, a glitchless version of a past tank they crafted. Kmarkow stated that this silver-colored tank build focused on adding more wheels to resemble real-world tank treads, which meant using fewer parts on the turret to compensate. A short video demonstrated the tank’s firepower against a Moblin camp. The turret honed in on the nearby Moblins and fired shots that quickly eliminated them.

The OP used iron boxes taken from the Zonai Shrines scattered throughout Hyrule, which can be removed by attaching them to a weapon or shield and then detached by speaking to Pelison in Tarrey Town. Iron poles and metal plates held the turret and the Big Wheels together. Four Big Wheels were attached to each side of the tank and dealt damage to nearby enemies. The main steering controls were placed on the back side, where Link could quickly access them.

Although Link could gain better protection by being inside the tank, Kmarkow stated that it would have forced them to play from a first-person perspective, which they did not like. ThoughTears of the Kingdomhas some lingering quirks, it remainsone of the top-selling Switch titlesnearly two years after its launch.
